The Role

This role will be to work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Also to undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service, you will also implement, adapt and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters. Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient‑centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings. Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.

In this key role, you will:

* Responsible for a delegated clinical caseload of patients whose treatment follows clearly defined parameters.
* Assess, implement, progress treatment and discharge in accordance with agreed protocols and parameters.
* Plan and prioritise delegated patient caseload.
* Plan and organise a range of therapeutic activities/clinics.


What You’ll Bring

* HNC in healthcare, education or social cares or SVQ III in healthcare, education or social care or equivalent experience in a health, education or social care environment.
* Short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
* Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
* Knowledge of the therapeutic process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.

A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part‑time working hours will be reduced on a pro‑rata basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
