We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic primary school teacher to join a mixed gender public primary school for ages 5-11 in Tangridge and surrounding areas as a Long term cover teacher. In this role, you will provide cover for a period of 6 weeks or more in one school, offering you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and open doors to future long-term or permanent positions.
While the work in this school is ad-hoc, Randstad provides additional opportunities to pick up work in other local schools. This flexibility allows you to see different schools, influence the next generation, and earn money on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities:
* Full teacher responsibilities
* Adaptability to meet the varying needs of students
* Effective collaboration with teaching assistants when necessary
* Ability to think on your feet and manage situations when work is not set or appropriate
* Marking and providing timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work
* Effective classroom management and creating a positive learning atmosphere
Key requirements for long term cover Teacher:
* Valid DBS with no reprimands that prohibit working with children (we can assist with DBS application)
* Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE)
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, and applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed
* Essential experience of teaching in a primary setting
* Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards the role and objectives
