Job Description
A lovely nursery that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Montessori pedagogy. The nursery staff are made up of a close supportive team, passionate about children's development and encourage self-development within the team. The nursery environment has been carefully developed to inspire and motivate children to be independent and curious learners. Their unique curriculum follows a child-centred approach which enables the development of the whole child as well as following their individual interests and encouraging them to be independent thinkers.
Your new role
We are looking for a Baby Room Leader r to join our team at our nursery in Hove.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Supporting and promoting children’s early education and development
2. Planning and providing effective care
3. Making accurate and productive use of assessment
4. Developing effective and informed practice
5. Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
6. Working in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
8. At least 1 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
9. Excellentmunication skills, both verbal and written.
10. A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
11. All applicants will be required toplete an enhanced DBS check.
