Job Title: Facilities Coordinator Step into an exciting opportunity as a Facilities Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Facilities Operations Manager to help plan and deliver a wide variety of small works and reactive maintenance projects across all college sites. From regular meetings to assess site needs, to supporting essential works, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our campuses running smoothly and efficiently. Get ready to take the lead in coordinating our summer works programme, including ongoing rolling maintenance projects that keep our facilities in top shape year-round! We're looking for someone who’s highly motivated, forward-thinking, and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll take charge of coordinating all reactive maintenance that involves external contractors, making sure everything aligns with our teaching and learning schedules. You’ll also be the go-to contact for contractors—ensuring that all priority tasks are completed on time, within scope, and in full compliance with health and safety standards. Essential Requirements: Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on clear communication and responsive support. Familiar with a wide range of facilities documentation, including Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, technical drawings, and engineering reports. Proactively identifies and resolves issues to ensure timely and efficient service delivery within the college environment. Strong understanding of safeguarding principles, with a committed approach to protecting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Actively contributes to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
