Location: Greater London (home based with regional travel)
Salary: £42,000 per annum

A well established organisation operating across the UK and Ireland is continuing to expand its high street andmercial estate. Due to ongoing growth and new site openings, they are strengthening their Facilities team and are now seeking experienced painters to support sites primarily across London and the South of England.
Your new role
As a Painter, you will be responsible for the maintenance of existing sites as well as the fitting out of new locations. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater London, with regular travel and occasional travel further afield within the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating acrossmercial environments
2. Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes
3. Preparing surfaces, including stripping old paint, filling cracks, sanding, and washing walls
4. Measuring work areas and calculating materials and time required
5. Selecting appropriate tools, materials, and finishes for each task
6. Mixing and colour matching paints to achieve the required finishes
7. Protecting surrounding areas, fixtures, and furniture prior to work
8. Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas
9. Reinstating areas onpletion of works
10. Working alongside other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and joiners
11. Liaising with internal teams to ensure work ispleted to specification
12. Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
13. Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator
14. Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
16. CSCS
17. Full UK driving licence
18. Flexibility to travel regularly across London and occasionally further afield
19. Willingness to work flexible hours when required
Desirable (but not essential):
20. Experience inmercial or facilities environments
21. Dry lining, taping and jointing experience
22. Ability toplete basic paperwork such as risk assessments
23. Willingness to support other trades when required on site
