As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your Impact includes patient interaction such as engaging with patients professionally, explaining medications, offering guidance on lifestyle and preventive care, addressing questions, and clinical responsibilities including triage, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, assisting with minor procedures, and maintaining electronic health records. Medication administration under supervision is required in NH & ME only. Collaboration with the clinical team is essential for seamless patient care and training new team members. Required availability includes working 12-hour shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays, with travel to other ConvenientMD locations within one hour if needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant certification or experience, and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross. The role demands compassion, communication skills, trustworthiness, teamwork, and technical proficiency. Bonus qualifications include 1-2 years of urgent care or emergency department triage experience.
