The Opportunity
As an experienced Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of work packages within the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Turbine Programme. You will oversee the impact of your work on the broader project and ensure alignment with overall project objectives. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager for Installation & Commissioning (Turbine Programme), you will manage activities related to the prefabrication, transport, storage, installation, and commissioning of Turbine Hall Piping.
You will be accountable for the entire lifecycle of the contract or work package, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning. Your role will involve ensuring all aspects of planning and execution comply with safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements, while aligning with the project's overall timeline and goals.

Pay, Benefits, and Culture

What You’ll Be Doing
As Project Manager, you will define work scope for contracts or packages and manage interfaces with other program elements. You will ensure effective communication with all stakeholders and oversee the safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of activities. Monitoring progress, providing updates, proactively managing risks, and resolving issues will be key parts of your role. You will also handle contract administration tasks, including variations, claims, and technical queries, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
You will oversee the Tier 1 supply chain, ensuring compliance with Nuclear Safety standards, and address any fabrication or installation issues to maintain quality and schedule. Managing contract changes, scope definition, and governance procedures will also be part of your responsibilities.
Who You Are
We seek a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in delivering projects within complex, regulated environments, preferably in the Nuclear Energy sector. You should have a strong background in project management, financial oversight, change management, and negotiation. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential. A degree in engineering or a related field, preferably mechanical engineering, is required. Experience with piping systems installation and onsite construction is highly desirable.
