Prominent law firm, based in the heart of Guildford is actively recruiting for an Office/Team Assistant to join their friendly team. The role is really varied and will include:- Working with service users to offer assistance where possible Supporting the Compliance & Risk Team with the completion of client due diligence, conflict checking and the Anti-Money Laundering processes Creating new files and maintain and update existing files, demonstrating an understanding of the principal documentswithin file Dealing with internal and external postal deliveries and arrange couriers Working effectively and efficiently on the Practice Management System to log and record documents Undertaking all file closing procedures including the processing of archiving and retrieval Complete searches at the request of Partners, fee earners and PAs. Photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, and filing tasks Supporting the Finance team by ensuring receipts, cheques and bills are correctly loaded onto the system Any ad hoc duties as requested by the business To apply, you’ll need to have previous Office Admin experience (6 months is OK) and be someone who can work on their own initiative with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
