This is a great opportunity for a SALES ENGINEER – STEEL FABRICATIONS to join the team of a well establish SANDWELL based manufacturer of structural and architectural steel fabrications.
Basic Starting Salary of £26k plus unlimited commission %age on all revenue generated. Plus pension, fuel & phone and the option for hybrid working. Core hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
As a SALES ENGINEER – STEEL FABRICATIONS you will be tasked with building your own portfolio of customers focusing on builders, developers, SME construction businesses and architects selling them the capacity to manufacturer anything from gates, railings, hand rails and staircases to structural beams, columns and frames. Activities include:
* Face to face customer meetings
* Balance new business development with account management
* Identify and pursue potential new customers, business leads and enquiries
* Nurture and build both new and established customer relationships
* Follow up quotations produced by the inhouse technical team
* Achieve performance and activity targets on a weekly basis
* Maintaining customer database and records
* Progress chasing
The successful SALES ENGINEER – STEEL FABRICATIONS will have demonstrated proficiency and expertise in:
* Knowledge of the construction sector
* Understanding of structural and architectural steel fabrication
* Skilled communication and strong, opportunistic negotiation
* Self-motivation, structured thinking and target driven approach
Note : You must already reside in the West Midlands with existing “right to work” entitlement.
This SALES ENGINEER – STEEL FABRICATIONS position will ideally suit a Sales Professional who selling into the construction sector or someone with Steel Fabrication experience coupled with customer fronting experience.
