My client is part of the National Autistic Society and is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team and support students in achieving their full potential.About the SchoolMy client provides specialist education and support for autistic children and young people aged 4-19. With a tailored curriculum and a strong focus on individual learning needs, we help our students develop essential life skills, confidence, and independence in a safe and nurturing environment.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Support students in their learning, both in groups and one-on-one.Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.Work closely with teachers and therapists to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.Provide emotional and social support to students, helping them develop communication and independence skills.Support with personal care where necessary and promote well-being.Foster a positive and safe atmosphere within the classroom.What We're Looking ForWe welcome candidates with a passion for supporting autistic children and young people.
