In Brief

As a Mental Health Advisor you will provide confidential emotional support to service users and provide advice and guidance around mental health and other issues. The Helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.


Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week on average) – Shift rota including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays (on a rolling rota)

Location: Remote (very occasional travel for meetings/training)


What You’ll Do

* Provide confidential emotional support and mental health guidance to service users.
* Support clients in accessing therapy through our myStrength App.
* Conduct risk assessments and create individual Risk Support Plans.
* Collaborate with the duty lead to manage risk effectively.
* Maintain high-quality clinical notes and service records.
* Participate in peer and clinical supervision, team meetings, and training.
* Contribute to a supportive, high-quality mental health service.
