Overall Purpose
The role will be responsible for cash and banking operations along with month end journals. The Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring a robust cash control environment and supporting the Group Financial Controller in actioning strategic strategies to maximise cash.
Detailed Responsibilities
* Maintenance of the daily cash reporting, ensuring accuracy of the direct cashflow and consistent 13-week cashflow forecasts
* Management of weekly cash flow along side presenting payment choices to ensure covenant compliance and liquidity
* Posting management accounting journals (incl accruals / fixed assets / prepayments)
* Completing the daily bank reconciliations, collaborating with the AR team
* Management of the Group's operational banking requirements, ensuring a robust treasury policy and efficient banking set-up
* FX Management, including looking at ways of natural hedging
* Set up payment authorisation process in KBC so that approvers have appropriate level of authorisation, ensuring this is documented
* Creation of a treasury management policy, including the process for managing the operational cash requirements of the business
* Calculation of revenue recognition and other accounting adjustments
Key Objectives for the next 6 months
1. Ensure all bank transactions are posted daily and bank reconciliations are performed.
2. Create a banking framework to maintain strong controls on payments
3. Minimise FX currency risk by driving through changes in group transactions
4. Maintain the 13 week forecast cashflow forecast automatically so can drive the supplier payment levels
Package:
* £75k plus 10% Bonus

Qualifications and experience:
* ACCA qualified with 2 years industry experience (Audit background preferred)
