Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role based in East Sussex. The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site operations for civils, groundworks, and reinforced concrete formwork projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Responsibilities include planning and coordinating tasks, supervising site teams and subcontractors, and monitoring progress against program and quality standards. The role involves enforcing health and safety procedures, conducting site inspections and toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Site Supervisor will also liaise with clients, engineers, and management, manage materials and plant on site, resolve site issues, and contribute to accurate reporting, documentation, and handover of completed works.
Qualifications
* Proven experience supervising construction sites, within civils, groundworks, reinforced concrete structures.
* Strong site coordination skills, including planning daily activities, allocating resources, and managing subcontractors and site teams.
* Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and method statements, with the ability to interpret and implement them on site.
* Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and address issues promptly.
* Good organisational and reporting abilities, including maintaining site records, progress updates, and quality documentation.
* Relevant construction qualifications or certifications SMSTS, CSCS, first aid
* Full UK driving licence and the ability to work on site and travel to other locations when required.
