Maintenance Engineer
Bolton
£40p/h Outside IR35
4 on 4 off (days/nights)
gap technical are partnering with a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Contract Maintenance Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-performing environment where your expertise will make an immediate and valued impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Swift and efficient response to equipment breakdowns
* Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance
* Diagnose and resolve machine processing faults using documentation and historical data
* Build strong working relationships with production teams
* Support and train operators in basic maintenance tasks
* Drive continuous improvement and reduce engineering downtime
Ideal Candidate:
* Time-served engineering apprenticeship ()
* Experience in Food/FMCG/Packaging sectors is a bonus
* Electrical bias, but truly multi-skilled engineers welcome
* Strong communicator and natural problem solver
