We are looking to recruit an additional member of staff towork in our booking office at South Wigston Health Centre. The booking officeis the hub of the Podiatry and Non-cancer Lymphoedema Service providing ahigh-quality telephone-based booking service for podiatry and non-cancerlymphoedema patients living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We are looking for someone to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdayand Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Main duties of the job
The main duties and responsibilities of the booking clerkare to provide an effective, efficient, and professional telephone centralbooking facility and help line for the Podiatry/Lymphoedema Services patients, carers,and clinical staff. Duties will include answering telephone calls, bookingappointments, dealing with queries etc. As well as monitoring patient waitingtimes and clinical diaries to make best use of clinical staff time and to meet serviceKPI's.
