Project Manager – Office Fit-Outs Location: Central London Contract Type: Freelance (Long-Term) Day Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: Immediate Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading fit-out contractor on a long-term freelance basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects across Central London, working with prestigious clients and design teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a detail-oriented approach, and proven experience delivering fast-track office fit-outs to the highest standard, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover * Coordinate and manage the on-site delivery team and subcontractors * Develop and monitor project programmes, ensuring milestones are met * Manage health & safety compliance, site logistics, and quality assurance * Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams * Track and report on project costs, variations, and procurement schedules * Ensure timely delivery of all site documentation and project reporting Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering office fit-out projects in London * Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, preferably within occupied buildings * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance * Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certification required Preferred: * Experience with high-end or design-led commercial interiors * Understanding of building services (MEP) integration within office fit-outs This is a long-term freelance role offering continuity of work and the opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on high-profile London schemes.
