Content Developer (L&D)
Location: Remote
Day Rate: £500
3 days per week (5 months)
We are looking for an experienced Learning Content Designer / Content Developer to join a team and support the delivery of a high-impact learning programme within the banking and insurance sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on content creation and managing content workstreams, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning materials for professional audiences.
You will play a key role in transforming technical expertise into engaging, structured learning experiences that meet both client expectations and professional learning standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Learning Content Development
* Design and develop learning materials across banking and insurance modules
* Build delivery-ready slide decks from course outlines and SME input
* Create facilitator notes, learner instructions, and supporting resources
* Develop case studies, tools, and practical exercises aligned with learning objectives
Assessment Development
* Write 20–25 multiple-choice questions per module, either from scratch or by adapting existing question banks
* Ensure assessments are clear, appropriately challenging, and aligned with learning outcomes
* Incorporate client feedback and finalise assessments following review cycles
Content Management & Quality Assurance
* Manage content review cycles with internal stakeholders and clients
* Maintain version control and documentation across all materials
* Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with objectives
* Deliver materials on time to meet programme milestones
What We're Looking For
Core Skills
* Strong Instructional Design and Curriculum Development experience
* Experience designing corporate learning for technical or professional audiences
* Excellent content writing and educational content development skills
* Experience developing trainer-led learning materials
Technical Skills
* Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint
* Experience in assessment design and development
* Strong technical writing and content structuring ability
Experience
* Working with subject matter experts to develop technical learning content
* Managing client feedback and review cycles
* Creating multiple-choice assessments to professional standards
* Managing content documentation and version control
