Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Manager, in Manchester, UK, to lead the controls function on a nationally significant multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme.
? About the Company
They are leading Tier 1 Construction and Engineering group, delivering complex infrastructure projects across transportation, building and civil engineering. The company is known for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in construction.
? Key Responsibilities
* Establish and manage integrated project control systems (cost, schedule, risk, performance).
* Lead cost engineering, earned value management (EVM), planning, and risk disciplines.
* Interface with planning, commercial, engineering, and delivery teams.
* Deliver strategic insights through accurate forecasting and reporting.
* Build and lead a high-performing project controls team.
* Expert in Project Controls within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge.
* Background in site-based roles (planning, engineering, project management).
* Proven experience in programme governance and stakeholder reporting.
* Skilled in Power BI or similar for data-driven decision-making.
* Experience in joint venture (JV) environments is a plus.
