On behalf of our client based in Bellaghy we are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator. We are seeking a detail orientated, experienced account administrator to manage our office, financial transactions, maintain accurate company records and support the directors to ensure smooth financial operations.
Hours of work are Mon - Frid 9am-5pm (part-time will be considered)
Job Description
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Prepare financial statements and reports.
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Administer month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Monitor and manage cash flow and expenditures.
* Handle discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
* Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
* Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
* Implement and improve accounting systems and processes.
* Prepare tax filings and ensure timely submissions.
* Support senior management with financial analysis and forecasting.
* General administrative duties to include answer phone, mail, make travel and accommodation bookings for staff etc
* Must have experience of working North and South of Ireland. To include ROS system and RCT process
Ideal Candidate
* Must have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Can work independently in office environment, as other staff are site based only in office periodically.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Work to high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organisational and time-management abilities.
* Experience in SAGE software and advanced knowledge of excel.
