Job Duties

The Department of English and Foreign Language offers programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Secondary Education Endorsement, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing Concentration. The Department also offers courses in French, Spanish, and Public Speaking as part of the general education requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

1. MS or Ph.D. in English and/or Foreign Language
2. Record of/or potential for commitment to student centered teaching that fosters an engaging learning environment.

Additional Considerations

1. Experience teaching English or Foreign Language courses in higher education.
2. Experience teaching College English I and II, Professional/Technical Writing, Public Speaking and/or Elementary Spanish I and II.
3. Experience with online learning management systems (Blackboard Ultra or similar).
