TSA Surveying are proud to be working in close partnership with a highly reputable and long-established property and planning consultancy to deliver best-in-class surveying services across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their collaborative team during an exciting period of growth, particularly within the Cambridge region.
They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor / Associate Director based in central Cambridge. The role is offered on a flexible hybrid working basis and is ideal for someone who is ambitious, client-focused, and ready to thrive within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Role Overview
As a key member of the Building Consultancy team, you will advise clients on a wide range of building surveying matters including:
* Building surveys and defect analysis
* Dilapidations and schedules of condition
* Licence for alteration assessments
* Contract administration and project management
* Technical due diligence and reinstatement cost assessments
* Coordination of national portfolio projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, healthcare, and heritage
You’ll work closely with clients, both existing and new, and play an active part in business development and networking initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a broad spectrum of professional services: dilapidations, technical due diligence, planned preventative maintenance, and more
* Provide advice on technical, financial, legal, regulatory, and sustainability matters relating to property and buildings
* Instruct and coordinate external consultants when needed
* Manage and administer construction contracts and feasibility studies
* Maintain excellent client relationships and support business growth initiatives
Candidate Profile
* MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
* Strong communication, organisational, and client-handling skills
* Confident with technology and digital tools
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
* Holds a full, clean driving licence
