At BDO, we pride ourselves on our Workable hybrid working framework. We have core team days, with an expectation that team members will be at our Baker Street hub for at least 2 days a week. Otherwise, you will have substantial freedom to plan your balance of time in the office and at home.
You will join one of the largest Professional Services tax teams in London, serving a diverse range of clients within the sector, including law firms, consultants, recruiters, architects, property services firms, financial services businesses, and private equity firms. We also support their Partners and Senior Executives.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical, commercial, and client relationship skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, working with colleagues recognized as sector experts. Our client base provides a chance to work on a challenging and varied portfolio, delivering tax reporting, compliance, and advisory services both in the UK and internationally.
You will handle matters related to the management of clients in the professional services and investment fund management sectors, especially partnerships/LLPs and their partners, as well as some corporate businesses.

Responsibilities
You will lead client relationships and manage your portfolio, supported by directors and partners, working with junior colleagues. Your portfolio will include a prestigious range of clients within the professional services sector, particularly partnerships/LLPs and their partners, along with some corporate clients.
Specifically, you will:
* Manage client relationships, acting as a key contact, responding promptly to client requests, and maintaining regular contact.
* Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring delivery of tax compliance and advisory services.
* Build your internal and external network to support your career development and business growth.
* Address diverse and interesting tax issues with support from senior staff.
* Participate in group management activities.
* Coach and develop junior team members.
* Coordinate between clients and other specialist groups within BDO, both domestically and internationally.
Requirements
* Qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
* Experience in corporate and/or partnership tax compliance and advisory roles, preferably involving professional partnerships.
* Involvement in challenging tax advisory projects.
* Some experience in business development activities.
* Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
* Experience managing junior staff.
* Strong motivation for technical and personal growth, with ambition to progress.
