Role:
Temporary Machine Refurbisher/Builder
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £12.91 Per Hour
Contract: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:00, Friday 06:00 – 13:00
We are recruiting for a Machine Refurbisher/Builder to join a busy manufacturing environment specialising in industrial cleaning machines. This role involves both building new equipment and refurbishing existing machinery to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building new industrial cleaning machines
2. Refurbishing used machinery
3. Cleaning machines and individual components
4. Shot blasting machine parts
5. Spray painting components within a paint booth
6. Working to production targets and deadlines
The Successful Candidate
Essential Experience:
7. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with time-sensitive tasks
8. Background in manual assembly processes
9. Competent using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, grinders, polishers)
10. Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
12. Welding experience (MIG / TIG / Stud)
13. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
14. Electrical fault finding skills
15. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
16. Experience using an electrical meter
Desirable Qualifications:
17. Electrical qualification
18. PAT testing certification
19. FLT licence
20. Welding qualification
