SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: £–£105 per day (PAYE)
A welcoming SEND provision is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism in small groups and 1:1.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils with communication and engagement
2. Maintaining routines and positive behaviour strategies
3. Working alongside teachers and SEN staff
4. Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them

5. Experience in SEND, autism or care settings
6. A calm, patient and consistent approach
7. Confidence building relationships with pupils
