Description
* Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* Monitor and maintain the accuracy of financial records related to accounts payable activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
* Prepare regular reports on accounts payable performance and key metrics.
* Collaborate with other departments within accounting & finance to improve processes and workflows.
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
* Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their performance.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Supervisor should have:
* Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a team effectively.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Job Offer
