The Intelligence & Insights team is responsible for transforming internal and external datasets into actionable commercial insights and deploying advanced data-science solutions.
We develop projects based on innovative ideas or manual processes that can be scaled or automated using data, machine learning, and generative AI.
This position has a global remit and plays a key role in influencing strategic decisions through advisory support and high-impact analytical services.
We are seeking a creative, detail-driven Generative AI Solution Developer with strong research capabilities to design and build intelligent, user-focused experiences—such as conversational AI tools and chatbots.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of chatbot interactions used by customer-facing teams.
Your work will directly enhance user engagement, operational efficiency, and digital innovation across the organisation.
The successful candidate will help lead the delivery of AI-driven insights through conversational interfaces, drawing on a variety of commercial and operational data sources. This is a hands-on, globally aligned role that collaborates closely with teams across the business to shape, coordinate, and implement elements of the broader data intelligence and analytics strategy.
You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with AI solutions, while also contributing to the design and assessment of novel machine-learning and deep-learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with cross-functional teams—including commercial, analytics, and technology groups—to design, build, deploy, and manage end-to-end generative AI chatbot solutions.
* Develop conversational flows, scripts, and user interaction patterns across internal platforms.
* Design, implement, and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embedding models, vector databases, and context-management approaches.
* Build and integrate agent-based workflows that support multi-step reasoning, planning, and tool orchestration.
* Connect conversational AI systems to structured and unstructured data sources (e.g., SQL, APIs, CRM systems, documents).
* Use data analysis to model user behaviour and improve AI performance.
* Stay current with emerging trends in generative AI, conversational design, and automation.
What We’re Looking For
* Advanced expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI, with experience delivering complex, production-ready solutions.
* Strong Python skills; experience with frameworks such as FastAPI is a plus.
* Prior experience designing or developing chatbots (portfolio examples encouraged).
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context optimisation, and evaluation methodologies.
* Knowledge of agent-based architectures, including planning, reasoning, and multi-agent systems
* Experience integrating conversational AI with CRM systems, web platforms, or mobile applications.
* Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, data labelling, or data-quality processes.
* Experience delivering data insights through conversational interfaces.
