Senior Finance Assistant | Creative Media Group | London | £35,000 Harmonic is delighted to be working with an iconic, globally recognised media group at the intersection of culture, fashion, art, and music. With around 200 employees and revenues north of £40m, the business produces award-winning content across digital, print, and live experiences, as well as managing a growing production arm. Their reputation as a tastemaker within the creative industries has made them a household name for innovation and cultural influence. They are now looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and wants to broaden their experience beyond accounts payable into the wider world of media finance. The Role Reporting into the Head of Finance, you'll take ownership of the Accounts Payable function while supporting across Accounts Receivable, Work in Progress (WIP), production accounting and month-end processes. This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and building strong relationships across creative, production and commercial teams. Key responsibilities: * Lead ownership of the Accounts Payable process: invoice posting, supplier statement reconciliations, and payment runs. * Support with Accounts Receivable : raising sales invoices, chasing outstanding balances, and maintaining healthy debtor relationships. * Assist with Production Accounting, ensuring accurate capture of costs and WIP reporting for ongoing projects. * Contribute to month-end : accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and management accounts support. * Act as a go-to person for finance queries across the business, building trusted relationships with non-finance teams. * Help implement process improvements as the finance team evolves alongside the business's growth. What we're looking for: * Solid experience in Accounts Payable (essential) and exposure to Accounts Receivable and general ledger work (desirable). Creative Agency/Media experience * Confidence working with reconciliations. * Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across creative teams. * A proactive, collaborative approach - happy to take ownership but also muck in where needed.
