We have an opportunity for a Research Associate to join the Information Studies team in the School of Humanities, working on the RAIUK funded Keystone project Participatory Harm Auditing Methodologies and Workbenches (PHAWM), led by Prof Simone Stumpf (School of Computing). The project is developing novel tools and methods for participatory AI auditing where a diverse set of stakeholders without a background in AI undertake audits of predictive and generative AI for potential harm.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with the project team and partners to contribute to quantitative and qualitative analysis of data collected from stakeholders, to take part in the formulation and delivery of research publications and/or other dissemination, and to contribute to design approaches to advance this cutting-edge and exciting project as opportunities allow.
