Hours Available: 30 hours or 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 21:30 – 07:30 (Waking Night)

We are currently recruiting a Male Waking Night Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a young man with complex needs at Warwick Manor, Bedford.
This is not a sleep-in role this is a fully waking night position where you will provide active, consistent support throughout the shift.
The individual you will be supporting has complex needs including behaviours that challenge and self-injurious behaviours, so prior experience within learning disabilities and challenging behaviour is essential.
You will play a vital role in ensuring safety, dignity, and stability overnight, as well as supporting morning routines and preparing him for college.

Your Role – Waking Night 1:1 Support
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the night
* Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to behaviours that challenge
* Support with personal care where required
* Assist with morning routines, including preparing the individual for college
* Maintain detailed and accurate care records
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure consistency of care
* Promote dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing
This is a role for someone calm, resilient, observant, and confident in managing complex behaviours.
