Overview
Production Assistant, Patisserie role at Daylesford Organic (The Bamford Collection). Based in the Patisserie production kitchen, responsible for packaging in-house creations including Crackers, Nuts, Beans, and seasonal specialties.
Responsibilities
* Execute, weigh and prepare all recipes/products as per company specifications
* Execute all food production duties in a timely and professional manner
* Adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
* Contribute to the award-winning standard of all Daylesford Organic products
* Ensure ingredients are well organised, in full supply and ready for each day’s production plan
* Ensure cleaning rotas are adhered to at all times
* Complete all tasks efficiently within the timeframe given
* Work safely and efficiently to ensure daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate
* Minimise wastage levels as much as possible
* Comply with the production unit’s internal and external audit requirements
* Aid the Head Pastry Chef in fulfilment of the Patisserie’s annual financial/budgetary targets
* Participate in effective communication regarding recipe/packaging changes and quality issues in the required timescale
