My client is a rapidly growing, sector-leading, multi-site retailer, distribution and ecommerce organisation based in County Durham. They currently seek a Projects Manager for their HQ near Peterlee to lead the Projects function.
About the Role
The Projects Manager will be tasked with designing and implementing the necessary frameworks and governance to lead and simultaneously coordinate multiple complex projects across different business disciplines. Projects can include opening of new sites, warehousing and distribution channels.
Main Responsibilities
1. Shape the Vision: Define clear project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets to set the foundation for success.
2. Plan with Precision: Develop comprehensive project plans featuring milestones, dependencies, and optimal resource allocation.
3. Lead with Impact: Drive productive meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring accountability and actionable outcomes.
4. Stay Ahead of Risks: Proactively manage challenges, escalate blockers, and deliver data-driven recommendations to keep projects on track.
5. Champion Best Practices: Oversee the consistent use of standardized toolsscope documents, risk logs, change control, and decision logs.
