Social Worker – Families First Front Door Team within Social Worker – Children in Plymouth UK, earning a generous £42.00 hourly rate. We are seeking an experienced professional for a temporary position lasting approximately 9 months to join our dynamic Families First Front Door Team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, as well as weekends from 9am to 5pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking service where your expertise can make a real difference. You will play a key role in supporting the Families First Front Door Service, which delivers vital safeguarding by bringing together partner agencies and social work practitioners.

What you will do
* Information Gathering: Gather and assess information to support informed safeguarding and threshold decision-making.
* Multi-Agency Working: Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate timely and appropriate interventions for children and families.
* On-Call Participation: Take part in the rota to provide essential on-call cover for safeguarding concerns outside core hours.
* Direct Engagement: Engage with children and families using a child-centred approach to identify risks and support needs.
* Front Door Safeguarding: Contribute to a service committed to maintaining an effective 24-hour response capability.
