As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality structural designs, calculations, and drawings, while working closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Structural Engineer include:
Structural Design and Modelling: Creating detailed structural drawings and models using CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
Engineering Calculations: Producing comprehensive structural calculations in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Project Coordination: Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and coordinate designs
Project Tracking: Using project management tools to monitor progress, deadlines, and deliverables
Technical Compliance: Reviewing specifications and reports to ensure designs meet client briefs, codes, and regulations
Documentation Support: Assisting with technical reports, documentation, and client presentations
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in civil or structural engineering design within the construction or engineering sector
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, TEDDS, Tekla, or similar design tools
Strong technical knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design principles
A solid understanding of structural analysis, mathematical principles, and engineering calculations
Experience managing multiple projects with excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
DESIRABLE
Experience with project management methodologies and associated software
Knowledge of geotechnical analysis and construction processes
A background in civil infrastructure or building construction projects
