Job Ref: RE-1846 | Job Scale: Grade 8 / Grade 8 | Job Hours: 18.5 Awr / 18.5 Hours | Location: Y Ganolfan Ddinesig, Merthyr Tudful / Civic Centre, Merthyr Tydfil
Speciality: Fixed Term for 2 Years. Salary: 18.5 Hours (50%) - Grade 8 SCP 31-16 £41,771 - £47,181 per annum pro rata; equivalent pro rata £20,885.50 - £23,590.50 per annum.
Responsibilities
* To safeguard vulnerable adults in need of support who are referred to the department, ensuring that plans are put in place which will mitigate risks.
* To obtain an accurate, person-centred perspective of the adults’ needs in order to ensure that the most appropriate support is provided to achieve their optimal independence.
* To work collaboratively with adults and their carers who are experiencing particularly complex issues and assist them in finding solutions.
Qualifications
* You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
