We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join an Oxford-based Start-up delivering a disruptive new generation of analytical instruments that weigh molecules with light. Quality Technician
Location: Oxford
Salary: £DOE + Benefits including (7% Pension, Private Health Insurance, 25 days leave, bonus)
Responsibilities
· Management of non-conforming components and assemblies.
· Performing investigations and develop corrective and preventative actions
· Perform QC checks and inspections on production items throughout the manufacturing process
· Assist with the design, creation, and administration of goods-inwards inspection procedures
· Support the creation and ongoing administration of the supplier management processes
· Creation and administration of calibration management system
· To support the Quality Department and Manager in any other relevant quality tasks including but not limited to internal audits, preparation of procedures or assisting with investigations.
The Candidate
· Experience within electronic/optical field
· Excellent communication skills, be quick to learn and possess a keen eye for detail.
· Organised and structured approach to their work
· Complying with any and all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product
· Excellent time management skills
· Strong team-working skills coupled with an ability to build relationships with different people and groups.
