Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Practitioner (AP) to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis. This post is a job share arrangement, working 18.5 hours per week (3 days one week, 2 days the next), in line with the other job share partner
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, working alongside the Team Manager and two established Advanced Practitioners. You will become the third AP in the team, playing a key role in managing duty functions and supporting staff across localities
Key Details
* Location: North locality (with flexibility to support across North or South)
* Contract: Permanent, part-time (18.5 hours, job share)
* Working Pattern:
o 3 days one week / 2 days the next (job share)
o Hybrid working typically 3 days in the office, with additional flexibility
o Ability to attend the office at short notice is essential
* Hours: Standard hours 9am5pm (duty days 8:30am5pm) Salary: £45,691-£49,646 FTE
Role Responsibilities
* Lead on the duty function, ensuring effective day-to-day operations
* Line manage staff within the locality, providing supervision, support, and guidance
* Chair meetings and ensure effective safeguarding oversight
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and locality partners to address the needs of residents
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities within the locality
* Contribute to the duty rota (operating across 5 days)
* Support the team in maintaining high standards of practice and professional accountability
Requirements
* A skilled practitioner with significant experience in social care, housing, or related services
* Strong leadership and staff management experience, with the ability to provide support and direction
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to respond to changing priorities at short notice.
* Knowledge and commitment to safeguarding responsibilities
* A collaborative team player, committed to supporting staff and delivering positive outcomes for the local community
* Required Skills & Qualifications:

o Knowledge of relevant social work legislation, policies, and procedures
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o A commitment to person-centred and strength-based practices
o Flexibility and adaptability in various work situations
o Eagerness to learn and continuously develop professional skills
o Relevant post-qualification experience in adult social work
o CQSW / DIPSW / Degree in Social Work or equivalent
o Registration with Social Work England (SWE)
o Must be a driver with own car
