As part of TPT Digital Client Services, the Social Listening Specialist plays a key role in the expansion and growth of our digital marketing division. They work alongside Sales to pitch social media strategies to existing and prospective clients. They build strong client relationships by providing sound strategic guidance, ensuring excellence in delivery and reporting tangible results.



They have a good understanding and hands-on experience in all areas of social media (organic and paid) and are pivotal to the successful planning and execution of domestic and international strategies for our clients in the USA, Latam, Canada and throughout Europe and the Middle East: from short-term projects to ongoing engagements, always helping them reach and engage a wider domestic and international audience through social channels.



The Social Listening Specialist is strategic and data-driven, commercially-minded and client-focused. They find it easy to explain social media concepts and strategy to clients and colleagues. They possess excellent cross-cultural communication, organization and time management skills to successfully manage client stakeholders and internal teams, while always focusing on quality, performance, profitability and growth. They are expected to grow their strategy skills while also being hands-on delivering projects.


Responsibilities

* Work alongside Sales and the wider client services team to help sell social media services to both existing and prospective clients by contributing to client pitches and strategic proposals.
* Lead research and strategy (audits, competitor analyses, content planning) and present findings and recommendations confidently to senior colleagues and clients.
* Own planning of content calendars and paid social campaigns across western social media channels.
* Oversee successful execution by our global digital production teams, liaising with client stakeholders and agency partners if needed.
* Own performance monitoring and reporting of assigned accounts, delivering monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
* Mentor and aid junior team members in both client services and production departments.
* Continuously research and select the best tools and templates to support our social media offering and incorporate those into existing workflows and processes.
* Keep up to date on social media trends and best practices, technologies and market leaders, and share this knowledge with colleagues and clients.


Requirements

* 2-3 years experience working as a Social Listening expert, Social Media strategist, Social Media analyst, Customer/Consumer Insights analyst, etc.
* Strong knowledge of social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat and/or Tumblr.
* Experience with Brand Health/Mentions, Industry Insights/Trends, Competitive Analysis, Reporting.
* Experience using social media analytics such as Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon, Meltwater, Socialbakers, Sprinklr, Synthesio, Sysomos, Talkwalk.
* Ability to create Boolean queries to "feed" them to social listening tools and interpret the outcome.
* Deep Knowledge of country-specific target markets.
