Johnson Controls are seeking a skilled and proactive Chiller Service Technician to service, maintain, and commission air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers across the Bristol region. This role is chiller‑focused due to current customer needs and limited general air‑conditioning work in the area.

What you will do
As a Chiller Service Technician, you will provide technical expertise and high‑quality customer service across the region.
Responsibilities include:
8. Servicing, maintaining and repairing air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers (York and other major brands)
9. Occasional work on associated HVAC equipment if required
10. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within agreed timeframes
11. Completing clear and accurate service reports
12. Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
What we look for
Essential
13. Recognised HVAC qualification (min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
14. Proven experience working on chillers (air‑cooled and/or water‑cooled)
15. F‑GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
16. Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, or Mitsubishi
17. Strong electrical and controls diagnostic capability
18. Ability to interpret technical documents (schematics, fluid diagrams, piping layouts, psychrometric charts)
19. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
20. Positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
21. Full UK driving licence

22. NVQ Level 3
23. Experience across wider HVAC systems (DX, VRV, Split, AHU, ventilation)
