Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in early years education and childcare. As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to support the development and care of children in a nurturing environment. This position offers valuable hands-on experience while you complete your training.
At the end of the apprenticeship you will gain an NVQ Level 2 or 3 Qualification in childcare.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
* Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments and reports.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's wellbeing and development.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Experience
* A genuine interest in working with young children is essential.
* Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are crucial.
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills related to early years education.
* Basic knowledge of child development principles would be beneficial.
