About our exciting opportunity
* Responsible for installing fibre to the property before the installation takes place
* Knowledge of Openreach/County Broadband specifications
* Underground work may involve slot trenching across a customer’s garden or working with Openreach duct to the property, ensuring fibre is coiled safely
* Overhead work involves feeding fibre from County Broadband or Openreach poles to customers' properties, securing fibre and leaving it coiled safely
* Ability to identify blockages or civils work required, ensuring poles are suitable and managing tree cutting for line of sight if necessary
* Assist the installation team to complete installs and support the wider team as needed
* Ensure all tooling and vans are in good working order
* Use rod and rope or pull in duct/cable on each job
* Use correct equipment and stores to complete tasks
* Complete necessary online forms as per company requirements
* Manage customer expectations effectively
Your skills and experience
* Openreach Underground and Overhead installation experience
* Experience with sign lighting and guarding
* Qualified to operate a MEWP
* Practical knowledge of fibre installs
* Basic IT skills
* Basic civils knowledge
* Valid clean driving licence
* Team player attitude
* Qualifications: NRSWA Operative, SA007, SA008, SA001, SA002, QU020, QO19
