We are seeking a
driven Business Development Manager
with a proven track record in
new business generation within the construction sector
to drive the growth of our
Construction Skills Bootcamps and apprenticeship programmes
.
Package & Benefits
* Salary up to
£45,000
* Uncapped commission
(realistic OTE £10k–£13k per year)
* Company car allowance
(£300 per month)
* 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays), rising with service

Home-based role
with weekly visits to head office in
Gateshead,
plus client visits nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business opportunities with a clear focus on
Construction Skills Bootcamps and related qualifications
.
* Meet and exceed financial and non-financial business development targets.
* Identify, engage, and secure partnerships with construction employers across the UK.
* Build and maintain strong employer relationships, representing the organisation professionally at all times.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless employer and learner journey from engagement through to enrolment.
* Provide accurate information, advice, and guidance to employers and learners.
* Maintain and report on all business development activity.
* Represent the organisation at events, networking opportunities, and stakeholder meetings, promoting training solutions within construction.
About You
* Proven experience in
sales or business development
within the
construction or training sector
(minimum 1 year).
* A track record of selling training solutions or services to construction employers.
* Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to meet ambitious new business targets.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
