A business based in York is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant, you will be:
Managing and underwriting credit applications from both business and personal customers
Liaising with the sales team for further info and giving the final sign-off before products are released
Maintaining the sales ledger and managing customer changeovers, including refunds
Chasing arrears and dealing with finance queries via shared inboxes
Providing ad-hoc cover and support across the finance functionTo be successful in this Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in credit control or sales ledger roles
Confident communication and a team-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar systems
A proactive, solutions-driven approach with great attention to detailWe would be keen to speak with individuals who are currently in a Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Admin, Finance Officer or similar role. You will need to be a team player who is confident speaking on the phone, with an excellent telephone manner.
