CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator Willenhall £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Precision Engineering / Aerospace CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company supplying the aerospace sector. This role will suit a skilled machinist with experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines who enjoys producing high precision components within a quality-driven manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing components from engineering drawings, programming machines, setting tooling and ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
o Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
o Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
o Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
o Select tooling and optimise cutting parameters
o Ensure maximum material utilisation and minimal waste
o Carry out first-off inspections and quality checks
o Maintain accurate production documentation
o Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Essential Experience
o Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
o Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
o Experience working within precision engineering / aerospace / high-spec machining
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable Experience
o Experience with Heidenhain controls
o Knowledge of tooling and cutting strategies
o Basic machine maintenance knowledge
o Forklift / counterbalance licence
