You will join a team of engineers, scientists and other professionals, in our Energy, Water and Resources Team, to assess, design and supervise civil engineering works. You'll work on a wide range of projects, across a number of sectors, including water, energy, site development, highways and rail. The projects and designs will come in all shapes and sizes, from local projects that shape the places we live and work, to national projects that impact at a national level. Our role will vary too, from things like flood risk assessment and drainage design, to engineering construction and utility infrastructure. \n\nYour role will involve 2D/3D drafting, modelling and drawing of various engineering elements to communicate these designs to colleagues, design teams, and regulatory bodies. You will help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients. \n\nAs part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards a Level 4 qualification in Civil Engineering with one of our local partner colleges. You will also be expected to work towards your Professional Qualification and acceptance into the Institute of Civil Engineers as an EngTech MICE.
