Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, the team is now seeking an ambitious Senior Town Planner to join their collaborative planning department at their Truro office.
The Opportunity:
You’ll play a key role in delivering a wide variety of planning projects – from bespoke residential schemes and rural developments to large-scale mixed-use sites. Working alongside an in-house team of planners, architects, and landscape designers, you’ll enjoy genuine project ownership and the chance to contribute to high-profile work across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals.
2. Provide strategic planning advice to a diverse client base including private developers, landowners, and architects.
3. Manage client relationships and liaise with local planning authorities.
4. Support and mentor junior colleagues as the team continues to grow.
About You:
5. MRTPI qualified (or actively working towards it).
6. Experience gained within a planning consultancy or local authority environment.
7. A strong understanding of the planning system, ideally with experience in rural or coastal development contexts.
8. Excellent communication, report-writing, and project management skills.
