Overview
At Vision Health and Fitness, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, professional, and motivating environment for our members. We are looking for a dedicated Gym Instructor to join our team - someone who is not only passionate about fitness but also exceptional at customer service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent customer service at reception and on the gym floor.
* Handle daily operations: opening, day-to-day running, and closing the gym.
* Provide inductions, training advice, and support for members of all abilities.
* Teach group fitness classes (occasionally), ensuring sessions are well-planned, engaging, and safe.
* Plan and prepare class content in advance, executing to a high standard.
* Assist with administrative tasks at the desk, including bookings, enquiries, and membership support.
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professionalism in all areas of the facility.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a positive, team-focused environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (essential).
* Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (preferred).
* Previous experience in a fitness or customer-facing role.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage with members.
* Reliable, adaptable, and a team player.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
