HGV Class 2 Driver (CAT C) - Nottingham
The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our well-known, industry-leading client based in Nottingham. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our team.
Hours: Shifts available across Monday to Sunday, including days, afternoons, and nights.
Pay Rate:
* Days/Afters - £13.01/hour, rising to £13.71 after 12 weeks
* Nights - £15.08/hour
Location: Nottingham, NG16
Job Type: Ongoing, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
The role:
* Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
* Transporting palletised parcels securely to couriers or from delivery points
* Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safety and accurate paperwork
* Assisting with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck
* Interacting professionally with customers and representing the company
Requirements:
* Full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
* Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only)
* Understanding of WTD legislation
* Willingness to undertake a driving assessment
