Job Title: Cost Accountant Location: Dungannon Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (39.75 hours per week) Reporting To: Financial Controller Overview An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cost Accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will support financial performance, cost control, and key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Review and maintain product costings (materials, labour, overheads) Analyse margins and support pricing decisions Manage costing for new product introductions Support budgeting and forecasting processes Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and audits Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Produce cost analysis and performance reports Identify cost-saving opportunities Support preparation of management reports and KPIs Maintain procedures and support compliance requirements Requirements Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing Strong Excel and systems knowledge Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and communication skills Detail-oriented and results-driven Desirable Experience with ERP systems Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar) Whats on Offer Dynamic and varied role within a manufacturing setting Exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-making Opportunities for career development If interested in this opportunity apply below or contact Eunice Loughran in Haughey Recruitment to discuss this further.
