ABC Teachers is seeking a committed and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Bromsgrove on a full-time basis - they are also open to applications from candidates looking for part time work for other roles.


About the role

A welcoming and well-established school is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with children in small group settings, supporting their learning and personal development 📘.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including communication needs and autism

* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff to implement individualised learning plans

* Encouraging engagement and active participation in lessons, helping pupils feel confident and valued

* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that supports independence and growth 🌱


About the school

The school is a specialist provision in Bromsgrove, supporting children and young people from Reception through to post-16 with moderate to complex educational needs.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
* Have relevant experience supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, and additional learning or emotional needs
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and effective behaviour management
* Are compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive difference ❤️
* Can provide suitable references and successfully obtain an enhanced DBS check ✅
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience in SEND setting
