The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to work in the Professional Services Education team within School X. Your primary portfolio will be supporting the Combined Honours undergraduate programme but you will be working closely with the Education team to support broader education provision across the School.
Education Assistants provide professional administrative services to ensure the smooth and effective running of the School’s taught programmes. Working as part of the Education Team, the postholder will help to deliver an excellent experience for our customers. You’ll work with students, academics, Professional Services colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
This role is a fixed term role for 1 year to cover a secondment.
We offer a blended working approach, with colleagues expected to work on campus at least 3 days a week, and up to 5 days a week during certain weeks of the year. The normal working days are Monday to Friday, but you may be required to work the occasional weekend to support our student recruitment activities.

1. Respond to queries and requests from students and academics quickly and efficiently, signposting onwards where appropriate
2. Use University systems to provide, check and update student and education-related data and documentation
3. Support education and student-experience related activities, for example student induction and open days
4. Co-ordinate and provide administrative support for committees and meetings
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s processes
6. Understand and implement relevant policies and procedures

Qualifications
26. GCSEs, or equivalent qualifications, including Maths and English at GCSE Level 7 are essential
27. 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications/experience are desirable
